CalcBaba was founded by a small team of finance enthusiasts and engineers who believe that every Indian deserves access to accurate, easy-to-use financial planning tools — completely free, with no sign-ups, no ads-before-results, and no hidden catches.

Our team brings together expertise in banking, chartered accountancy, and software engineering. We've worked with lending institutions, studied RBI circulars, and spent years understanding how real-world EMI, tax, and investment calculations work — so that you don't have to.

RBI-Accurate Formulas

Every calculator on CalcBaba uses the exact mathematical formulas prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and followed by all major Indian banks including SBI, HDFC, ICICI, and Axis Bank. Our EMI calculations use the standard reducing-balance method. Our tax calculators follow the Income Tax Act slabs updated for the current financial year. Our SIP calculations use the correct compounding formulas used by AMFI-registered mutual funds.

All calculations are independently verified by qualified finance professionals — including chartered accountants and banking experts — before being published on our platform. We cross-check our outputs against official bank calculators to ensure accuracy down to the last rupee.
